Nomads, Solo
$10.00
Nomads was written to help students break out of “five-finger position thinking” and learn what real music requires: moving around the keyboard with confidence. Inspired by nomads who travel from place to place, this piece asks students to physically jump to new hand positions (m. 1–4), then use sequences that encourage the 5th finger to extend and reach into each new position (m. 5–8). The tempo can be quick — but students can “move along at their own pace” as they master the geography.
